The Week Before Resurrection Celebration

Saturday we did our usual attending Saturday evenings services. It was so nice to gather together with so many and worship the Lord after a long week. Our Pastor's daughter led worship. Wow! awesome! She did great. It was a blessing to see her playing the guitar, leading worship and her mother playing keyboards with the rest of the praise band.

Today Sunday we attended the 9AM and 11AM services. Paul and his wife Alicia led worship today. It was wonderful. My wife served in the children's ministry second service, and I served in the homeless outreach ministry after second service worship. Normally we usually head for home around 1:30 each Sunday afternoon, however today we didn't even start for home till after 4PM. Overall, we had such a wonderful weekend. Of course I then slept till 8PM or so and simply rested, which was a great way to end the day and evening. I loved those Sunday evening naps.

Next weekend as we gather to Celebrate Resurrection Day with about 1,500 attending the services. I love this particular gathering, all the families that gather, the relatives that attend, the fun zone for the children and other activities. It will be such a blessing to attend an watch unfold.
